Dr. Kevin Nunley's Biz Tip:
You Don't Like to Read?
Almost all my articles, reports and books appear in printed form. You
can read the article, order the book, or check out the printed info
on my websites.
But what about people who don't really like to read? Likely more of
your customers than you realize prefer NOT to read. About 1 in 10
people can't read or don't read very well. Another 20 percent read
fine, but prefer not to. That's a full 1 in 3 customers who will
respond better if you can offer your info in some other form.
Many websites and print advertisers insist on including photos in
their ads. Mary at CarAccessories.com told me their automotive
customers respond better when they can simply click a detailed photo
of the product.
Television is the classic way to advertise to customers who don't
read (like young children or audiences who only read another language).
Offer your reports, sales info, booklets, and web copy on cassette.
Many people prefer to listen to your info while driving or riding the
train to work. Some publishers find a big audience for complicated
subjects in comic book form.
