There is an old saying "a picture is worth a thousand
words." That is especially true in marketing. Before and after
photos are one of the oldest and most powerful marketing tools ever invented.
A well-written sales letter or ad can go a long way in convincing a
prospect you've got what they need. However, a picture shows
instantly the benefit a customer will get.
You have seen the make-over photos cosmetic companies use. The before
photo is (an attractive) person in bad light, no makeup, with a frown
on her face. The after photo has the same person looking elated and
wearing expensive cloths in bright TV-studio lighting.
The before and after photo puts your important benefits in sharp
contrast. You can use this marketing principle to sell just about

examples of web sites he has re-designed. Consultants show the mess
the client was in, then the success they achieved with the
consultant's help.
