Dr. Kevin Nunley's Biz Tip:
Market With Reprinted Articles
These days information is king. Everyone feels like they need new
ideas, the latest trends, and the day's headlines. Many people aren't
competitive unless they're in the loop and plugged in.
You can help prospects and clients stay informed. It is a terrific
way to market.
1. Keep your eyes open for articles that people in your business
would find interesting. Look in trade publications, magazines,
tabloids, email newsletters, and newspapers. These are places with
good information that most people don't have time to track down.
2. Ask the publication for "reprint rights." Most
publications have a reprint rights departments. The charge to make
copies of an article can often be very low or free.
3. Mail or email the article to people you know will be interested.
Pass them out to business associates. Leave a stack of your reprinted
article on your reception desk or store counter.
A monthly reprinted article can work like a newsletter.
