Dr. Kevin Nunley's Biz Tip:
Post Card Marketing
If you are selling a sophisticated or high-end product or service,
you may be dismayed at how much it costs to get "classy"
advertising. Gold-embossed letters in fine envelopes or full-page ads
in glossy magazines can be prohibitively expensive for many small businesses.
Here is a very inexpensive and effective way to advertise to elite
prospects. Use post card marketing.
Such elite organizations as symphony orchestras and opera companies
have made post card campaigns the mainstays of their ticket and
fund-raiser advertising.
Post cards can be printed in multiple colors with glossy coating to
give a very expensive look. Postage, always the biggest expense with
direct mail, is much lower than for first class letters.
And best of all, a post card doesn't have to be opened. Busy people
see your message immediately.
